Error description

  • +DFHAP0707 CICSDBDC An abend (code 0C1/AKEA) has occurred in
    task related user exit program DFHMQTRU.
    +DFHAP0001 CICSDBDC An abend (code 0C1/AKEA) has occurred at
    offset X'FFFFFFFF' in module DFHMQTRU.
    received shortly after CICS has recovered from a SOS situation.

    Abend occured after a BASR from DFHMQTRU +x42A70'. Reg 15
    contains Msg handle create routine address (CSQBCRMH) loaded
    from CLOC +x'140'.

    CSQBCRMH was flushed after SOS but CLOC is never updated to
    reflect this.

    CSQBCRMH and CSQBPAPI were added by PK89844.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 0C1/AKEA occurs at offset *
    *                      X'FFFFFFFF' in module DFHMQTRU.         *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    DFHMQCON loads programs CSQBCRMH and CSQBPAPI for exploitation
    of IBM WebSphere MQ V7 functionality. The ENTRY addresses are
    stored in the CLOC and are referenced by DFHMQTRU when it makes
    a call to one of these programs.
    However if CICS goes SOS, CSQBCRMH and CSQBPAPI may be flushed
    as they are loaded without the HOLD option specified. The CLOC
    is not updated in this case and as a consequence if DFHMQTRU
    issues a call to one of these programs an 0C1 abend occurs.

Problem conclusion

  • UK52619 UK57403
    The EXEC CICS LOAD commands in DFHMQCON, used to load CSQBCRMH
    and CSQBPAPI, have been modified to include the HOLD option.
    With this option specified the programs now remain in storage
    until explicitly released and will not be flushed in the event
    of CICS becoming SOS.
