Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users with PM59370 applied. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHWB0001 AN ABEND (CODE 0C4/AKEA) * * AT OFFSET X'3620' IN MODULE DFHWBSV. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** After applying APAR PM59370 an abend0C4 may occur in module DFHWBSV at offset x'3620'. This can happen if the CISR task loses control between receiving the DRAIN command to close the IPCONN and issuing an ASYNC RECEIVE to wait for the next request. In the time that CISR loses control, it is possible for the CIST task to clear the ISSS_WB_SESSION token which is used by CISR for the ASYNC RECEIVE. This problem can only occur during the close processing of the second socket. Additional keywords: 0C4 OC4 abend0C4
Problem conclusion
UK78713 UK78714 DFHISRR has been changed so that the ISSS_WB_SESSION token is validated before CISR issues an ASYNC RECEIVE request.
