    ****************************************************************
When a request is made to create or update a MAPDEF, PARTDEF or
PRTNDEF record in the CSD, method EYU0BACF (BACF - MAPDEF),
EYU0BACG (BACG - PARTDEF) or EYU0BACH (BACH - PRTNDEF) runs in
the CICS region to which the request is scoped, to validate the
attributes for the record. If the attributes are valid, then
the methods call method EYU0BNCC (BNCC) to issue the proper EXEC
CICS CSD command to create or update the record.

A change was made for CPSM 5.1 to move the EXEC CICS CSD command
processing for these resources to method EYU0BNCI (BNCI)
instead. When BNCC receives the request, it sets an OK response
and returns to its caller, without calling BNCI.

For create requests issued through the CMCI and CICS Explorer, a
delay of approximately 40 seconds will occur after the OK
response is returned from the BACx method.

Problem conclusion

  • Methods BACF, BACG and BACH have been updated to call method
BNCI instead of BNCC when they are called to create or update a
    record in the CSD.
