Error description
After applying the PTFs for PM67891 (UK83850 or UK83851) message DFHUS0002 with code(x'030C') can occur when a userid used for session preset security completes DELETE_USER processing in DFHUSAD. . The problem occurs because the format of the USD1 directory key used for these session signons was changed by PM67891, but the change was not correctly reflected in the USUDB. When the DELETE_USER processing is done in DFHUSAD the USD1 directory key is reconstructed using information in the USUDB. DFHUSAD fails to find this incorrect entry in the USD1 directory so assumes there is a major problem with the state of the directories and terminates CICS. . MRO connections using preset security are probably unlikely to see the problem as they will typically remain inservice for the lifetime of the CICS region. The problem is more likely to be seen using EXCI connections, especially if USRDELAY is set to a low value and the EXCI session userid then times out.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users with UK83850 or UK83851 * * applied. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Message DFHUS0002 code(x'030C') and * * CICS terminates when deleting a session * * userid. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** PM67891 altered the way that session userids were signed on. The format of the USD1 key was altered so that these signons were not subject to RACF notifications. When a session userid gets deleted DFHUSAD recreates the USD1 directory key before removing the user from the directory. The key generated during DELETE_USER processing does not match the one created during ADD_USER processing. This causes DFHUSAD to fail to locate the correct entry in the USD1 directory. The failure to remove the entry from the USD1 directory causes DFHUSAD to believe that its directories are in an inconsistent state. Message DFHUS0002 with code x'030C' is issued and CICS is terminated. Additional keywords: US0002
Problem conclusion
UK83850 UK83851 DFHUSAD has been changed to correctly delete session userids from the USD1 directory.
