**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICSPlex SM V4R2M0 Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users may experience abend AKEA/S0C1 in * * module xxx9DBUG, where xxx can be CJA, * * CJB, CJC or EYU, in a CMAS or MAS when * * issuing the CODB debugging transaction * * or the COD0 debugging transaction DUMP * * command. * * * * Note that if the abend occurs through * * using the COD0 transaction, CPSM will * * also report abend ASRA/S0C1 in method * * EYU9DBG1 (DBG1). * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this * * APAR, all CMASes and MASes must be * * restarted. Note that the restarts do not * * need to occur at the same time. * **************************************************************** The SMP/E JCLIN provided for the CJA/CJB/CJC/EYU9DBUG modules does not specify an ENTRY statement. This may result in the ENTRY point for the module being the beginning of the module, which is the module identifier information. If this occurs, then abend S0C1 will occur when invoking CJA/CJB/CJC/EYU9DBUG through the CODB transaction or through the COD0 transaction DUMP command.
Problem conclusion
The SMP/E JCLIN provided for the CJA/CJB/CJC/EYU9DBUG modules has been updated to include an ENTRY statement.
