  This APAR delivers a range of improvements to CICS IPIC.
  
  Changes are made to address issues such as IPCONNs stuck in
  freeing state or IPCONNs failing to ACQUIRE correctly.
  A problem which can cause a DISCARD of an IPCONN to hang
  waiting on the ISCBCHN lock is also addressed by this APAR.
  A DFHIS0002 severe error code 0812 problem which occurs when the
  CISE task tries to release an ISSB is also addressed by this
  APAR.
  A range of problems affecting termination of IPCONNs during CICS
  shutdown have been addressed in this APAR.
  This APAR will also introduce changes to the default value used
  for the TCPIPSERVICE BACKLOG option. This change affects
  TCPIPSERVICEs for all PROTOCOLs - not just IPIC. TCPIPSERVICE
  samples shipped with CICS have been updated to reflect this
  change.
  This APAR also corrects a a double freemain problem which causes
  a DFHSM0002 error code 0D0C. This happens when an attempt to
  install a remote terminal on an IPIC AOR times out.
  A problem which causes CEDF to hang when debugging a transaction
  routed transaction over an IPIC connection is also addressed.
  Various diagnostic improvements are also made by this APAR.

  in the CICS InfoCenter for the following messages and
