    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    CTG was used to send ECI request to CICS. When a CIEP task was
    processing an connection closed , a mirror task processed
    a SEND LAST and attempted to delete the same conversation
    IECCB too. If this IECCB got reused by a different connection
    which came in after SEND LAST completed and IECCB freed.
    CIEP can end up corrupting the reused IECCB and purge the
    task related to this reused IECCB. This led to an
    AITH abend of new task and 0c4 error when attempting to access
    the IECSB from the corrupted IECCB.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHIEIE has been changed to avoid corrupting an IECCB when
    a connection closure happens.
