    ****************************************************************
When a message is to be written to the EYULOG (COLG) TDQ,
CICS Message Domain is called to return the message text in
the specified national language. Module EYU0XMLM (XMLM - COLG
Message Service) is called to parse the message string and write
the message to the COLG TDQ. XMLM does not properly handle the
double-byte characters in Chinese and Japanese translations.

Problem conclusion

  • Module EYU0XMLM was modified to identify shift-out and shift-
in characters in a message string, and handle double-byte
characters properly. Additional user tracing was added to track
    message processing.
