Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS Users with UK94862 applied. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Running UPGRADE USING DFHCURDM fails * * with DFH5149E and DFH5286E. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** When running DFHCSDUP UPGRADE USING DFHCURDM for UK94862 it will result in DFH5149 E and DFH5286 E when DFHCSDUP attempts to update group DFHPIPE. DFHPIPE is an IBM protected group and requires the UNLOCK command to be issued before it can be updated. The UNLOCK command was missing from UK94862 and this resulted in msgDFH5149 and msgDFH5286.
Problem conclusion
UK94862 DFHCURDM has been changed to add the UNLOCK and LOCK group for DFHPIPE.
