APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The sample COBOL autoinstall control program for programs,
DFHPGAOX, has 2 constants included for concurrency. One is
PGAC-QUASIRENT with a initial value of '1'. The second is
PGAC-THREADSAFE with an initial value of '2'. But in CICS/TS
V4.2 a third value is valid: PGAC-REQUIRED, most likely with an
inital value of '3'.

PGAC-REQUIRED is missing in DFHPGAOX.

Local fix

  • Customers can add by hand 03 PGAC-REQUIRED PIC X VALUE '3' in
their autoinstall program.

  • Update DFHPGAOX to include missing constant PGAC-REQUIRED.
PLI, C, and HLASM versions of exit do not have constants
defined.

Temporary fix

  • FIX AVAILABLE BY PTF ONLY
