Error description
You are trying to stop a connection to the QMGR/ MQ region but a normal stop did not work. So, using a force against the region you ended up getting the following dump message: DFHAP0001 applid An abend (code 0C4/AKEA) has occurred at offset X'0000CCF0' in module DFHMQTRU. Reviewing the Dump shows the reason for the protection exception is on this ST instruction Reg9 is trying to store into Reg6. Reg6 address of 00000000 + 14 points into storage that is in KEY(0) and the PSW is running in KEY(8). So, the key of the storage area that the running program tries to access is different from that of the running program. The abend is actually happening within module DFHMQTRQ under proc cleanup_qini, and would appear to be another flavor of the problem that was reported and fixed by PK95407 (PTF UK53607). PK95407 handled the fact that the pMail pointer in the same area of code was zeroed by an earlier FREEMAIN, which led to problems when we tried to access the pMail pointer later, and this is a similar problem with pointers being zeroed out then referred later. When the CICS-WebSphere MQ adapter is shut down an abend S0C4 occurs at offset x'CCF0' in DFHMQTRU. Additional keywords: DFHAP0707 DFHAP0001 S0C4 ABENDS0C4
Problem conclusion
The processing in DFHMQTRU to unchain CKTI tasks when the CICS-WebSphere MQ adapter is shut down has been altered so that it now runs serially for each task.
