Error description
The following Messages occur for IPIC Connections: . DFHIS0002 A SEVERE ERROR (CODE X'0812') HAS OCCURRED IN MODULE DFHISAL . DFHSO0002 A SEVERE ERROR (CODE X'029F') HAS OCCURRE D IN MODULE DFHSOCK. . Task CISS (IPIC acquire IPCONN on the server side of a connection) allocates an ISSB (IS DOMAIN IPCONN Control Block) and get's suspended. While suspended another Task CISE (IPIC error and message program) comes along using the same session as the CISS Task and FREE's the ISSB and CLOSES the IPCONN. Task CISS wakes up and attempts to FREE the ISSB but it has already been FREEd. . In this case, the reason why the CISE task ran for that IPCONN is because a NOTIFY for DATA was received with no data to receive. The SOCKET domain interpret's that a the SOCKET has been closed an the primary CLIENT ISSS (IS DOMAIN SERVER SESSION SET Control Block) is queued for CISE processing with an error code of x'0609'. In the mean time CISS task which is using the secondary CLIENT ISSS send a CAPEX response to the CLIENT, issued message DFHIS2001 and then attempts to FREE the ISSB. This is where the DFHIS0002 is issued. . Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVDAM

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHIS0002 is issued when CICS * * handles the CAPEX request from * * CICS TG to initialize an IPCONN. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A CAPEX request is received in CICS from CICS TG to initialize an IPCONN. CISS task is attached to process this request and then send a CAPEX response back to CICS TG. Before sending the CAPEX response, an ISSB is allocated but the field ISSB_TRAN_NUMBER is set to null. During sending the CAPEX response, a socket error is received. Accordingly, CISE task is resumed to handle this error. During CISE, the ISSB which is allocated in CISS task is freed because the ISSB_TRAN_NUMBER is null. Then CISS task get running again. After sending the CAPEX response, it tries to free the ISSB which is already freed in CISE. That causes DFHIS0002 with a system dump being issued. Additional Keywords : msgDFHIS0002 IS0002
Problem conclusion
DFHISCO has been changed to make sure the ISSB is freed in CISS task.
