Error description

  • You run IBM-supplied USERMOD DFH$UMOD to move recommended
modules from SDFHLOAD to SDFHLPA. You then IPL with CLPA to
reload the link pack area, but when you start CICS with LPA=YES
in the SIT, you still receive the following messages:
    .
DFHLD0109I <applid> DFHLDLD1 is unable to locate module
DFHMPDML in the LPA. DFHRPL or dynamic LIBRARY
version of module will be used.
DFHLD0109I <applid> DFHLDDMI is unable to locate module
DFHAPRL in the LPA. DFHRPL or dynamic LIBRARY
version of module will be used.
DFHLD0109I <applid> DFHLDDMI is unable to locate module
DFHEIAD in the LPA. DFHRPL or dynamic LIBRARY
version of module will be used.
DFHLD0109I <applid> DFHLDDMI is unable to locate module
DFHEITL in the LPA. DFHRPL or dynamic LIBRARY
version of module will be used.
DFHLD0109I <applid> DFHLDDMI is unable to locate module
DFHICUT in the LPA. DFHRPL or dynamic LIBRARY
version of module will be used.
DFHLD0109I <applid> DFHLDDMI is unable to locate module
DFHMPDML in the LPA. DFHRPL or dynamic LIBRARY
version of module will be used.
DFHLD0109I <applid> DFHLDDMI is unable to locate module
DFHTDEXL in the LPA. DFHRPL or dynamic LIBRARY
version of module will be used.
    .
Additional modules should be moved by the DFH$UMOD USERMOD.

Local fix

  • Dynamically load the specified modules to LPA or code PRVMOD=
statements in the SIT to prevent CICS from looking for them in
    the LPA.

    ****************************************************************
If a CICS system is started with LPA=YES specified in the SIT,
then the following message is issued by DFHLDLD1:
"DFHLD0109I DFHLDLD1 is unable to locate module DFHAPRL in the
LPA. DFHRPL or dynamic LIBRARY version of module will be used."
Similar messages are issued for modules DFHEIAD, DFHEITL,
    DFHICUT, DFHMPDML and DFHTDEXL.
DFHLD0109I may also be issued by DFHLDDMI if LPA=YES is
specified in the SIT and definitions for these modules are
found in the CICS local catalog during startup.
All of these modules are LPA-eligible, but do not have entries
    in DFH$UMOD.

Problem conclusion

  • Entries for each of the modules have been added to DFH$UMOD.

Entries will be added for DFHAPRL, DFHEIAD, DFHEITL, DFHICUT,
DFHMPDML and DFHTDEXL in Table 3. LPA-eligible modules that
are loaded into the LPA in the CICS Transaction Server for
    z/OS Installation Guide Version 5 Release 1, GC34-2857-00,
    as follows:

    Name Description System initialization parameter
                                    or note

    DFHAPRL Validate and install resources
DFHEIAD AP domain - audit command
DFHEITL AP domain - resolve SPI
DFHICUT AP domain - delete ICEs
    DFHMPDML MP domain
DFHTDEXL TD domain - DCB exit list
