Error description

  • Running CINC transaction to STOP Command Flow collector
    results in messages:
CIU2239S CICS DISABLE EXITALL for program CIUXACO3 failed
    RESP=63 RCODE=800080
After restart Command Flow collector by CINC
    an Abend:
DFHAP0701 A46L1A3C An abend (code 0C1/AKEA) has occurred in
exit program CIUXACO3 at exit point XEIIN.
The EC DISABLE PROGRAM request fails for the XEIIN global
user exit with EIBRCODE X'800080' indicating the XEIIN is in
    use.
The command flow collector after a subsequent START uses the old
version of user exit program which contains wrong AUGW pointer.
This is the reason of ABEND.

Local fix

  • Keep manually issuing CINC to stop command flow collector until
    all exits are disabled.

There is no reaction of the CICS IA, if exit is not stopped
after DISABLE request in stress situation.

Problem conclusion

  • The DISABLE process is cycled as a five cycles loop.
The loop continues, if exit is captured, but not more
the five time. The same process is used in CINT.
