Error description

• CICS IA 5.2 CIUDBCP1 job fails with SQLCODE -401 while trying to
  create stored procedure
  CIUSPTSR due to PTF UI20622(APAR PI19804) which can not be
  applied in customer's DB2 system.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  *                 in DB2 V11. But PTF UI20622(APAR PI19804)    *
  *                 can not be applied in customer's DB2 V11     *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SQLCODE -401 or unexpected ABEND0C4 or  *
  *                      ABEND04E occurs for a CREATE PROCEDURE  *
  *                      CIUSPTSR statement because this         *
  *                      procedure contains control statements   *
  *                      with an IN-LIST predicate which         *
  *                      references SQL variables.               *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF and perform the HOLD ACTION    *
  *                 items.                                       *

  If PTF UI20622(APAR PI19804) is not applied in customer's DB2
  V11 system, DB2 does not process the SQL variables in the
  IN-LIST predicate properly which can result in the incorrect
  SQLCODE or unexpected ABEND.
  

Problem conclusion

• All IN-LIST predicates have been changed to IF (...) statements
  in the CIUSPTSR stored procedure to avoid the incorrect SQLCODE
  or unexpected ABEND.
