PM51066: CINC CIUA02 CICS IA COMMAND FLOW APPLID LIST MISSING SNA AND IPCONN CONNECTIONS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1. You run the CINC transaction and then choose the options to
  view the eligible applids for the command flow feature.
     The PF4 prompt on BMS map CIUA04 does not contain the CICS
     regions connecting using access method VTAM or IPCONNs.
  2. CIUCNTL is defined in FOR region as local and remote in AOR.
     Running CINC transation to start the collection on FOR,
     message CIU2353E is issued.  Running CINC on AOR all works
     fine.

  CIU2304W CINC Collector is not stopped. There are no connected
  regions.   This can occur if there are VTAM SNA connections
  present in the system which are not active.

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF.                               *

  2. The reason is the incorrect check of INQUIRE results for
     the Control file data set name in AOR. CICS returns blanks
     in the AOR for the file defined in the FOR.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. Code has been added to manage CICS regions connected via
     network access methods.
  
  2. Code has been added to check the INQUIRE results for the
     blanks.
