    the TCA pointer. The invalid TCA pointer can also lead to
    ABEND S0C4 in stress situations.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The CICS IA affinity collector can *
    *                      abend from CIUZCCO1 in stress           *
    *                      situation rarely.                       *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply PTF.                                   *
    ****************************************************************
    CICS IA v 32 was compiled with usage macros for
    CICS TS v 42. Some programs in affinity collector
    use CICS TS macro to obtain EIS pointer directly, so
    the pointer has wrong value in preceding CICS TS
    versions. It can be the reason of ABEND.

Problem conclusion

  • All operations to obtain dates from EIS must be made
    in XPI environment.
