PM83378: CINB CIU4100S CIU3303S ABENDIUXA COLLECTING TSQ AFFINITY DATA

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• You collect affinity data for temporary storage queues and
  periodically receive IUXA abends for the CINB transaction.  The
  CINT log contains messages similar to the following:
  
  CIU4100S  mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss applid Function call failed
  FUNCTION=7 REASON=10 TABLE=9
  CIU3303S  mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss applid CINB has abended IUXA in
  program CIUCINB1
  
  The FUNCTION, REASON, and TABLE values may vary.

Local fix

• Specify TSQ=N for affinity collection option.
  

Problem summary

  *                      not serialized in collector's programs. *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF.                               *

  Data Space look-up is not enclosed in ENQ/DEQ block in the
  TSQ affinity module CIUZCCOQ.
  

Problem conclusion

• The data space reliability and serviceability were increased.
  The ENQ on the >CIUCING string was added to the TSQ affinity
  module CIUZCCOQ so it serializes access to the CICS IA data
  space.
