PM87800: MESSAGE CIU2207E CONTAINS AN INCORRECT DB2 TABLE NAME

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When an error occurs on a SQL request for the DB2 system
  variable SYSIBM.VERSION, message CIU2207E includes an
  incorrect DB2 table name.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Customer obtains the message CIU2207E   *
  *                      with a wrong table name, from CIUCINB2  *
  *                      if CICS IA is connected to DB2 V10,     *
  *                      and SQL request for SYSIBM.VERSION      *
  *                      returned error code.                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF and perform HOLD ACTION item.  *
  ****************************************************************
  The problem is result of the wrong initialization of the
  constant which is used to supply table name in the
  appropriate message in CIUCINB2.
  

Problem conclusion

• The table name was corrected in constant SYSIBM.
