A row in a CICSPlex SM WUI tabular view or confirmation panel is
described by a control block called EYUXDTIT (DTIT - DeTail
ITem). The last field in the fixed section of a DTIT is a 12
byte CICSPlex SM resource table attribute name.

The COVC Import / Export methods (EYU0VVEG / EYU0VVEE) both call
method EYU0VVEM (VVEM - Menu and View Cache Meta Data) to obtain
information about WUI objects. VVEM references a table
EYU0VVET that defines the various WUI data cache objects like
    the DTIT.

EYU0VVET contains an incorrect length specification of the DTIT
attribute name. It is defined as 16 bytes instead of 12 bytes.

This may cause VVEG and VVEE to process WUI import/export data
    incorrectly, causing the reported symptoms.

Problem conclusion

  • The EYU0VVET table has been updated to correct the length of the
    DTIT attribute name.
