Error description
CICSPlex SM is impacted by the changes made by MVS APAR OA11675. . The CICSRGN and MCICSRGN SIOREQ fields (both based on ASCBIOSC) may contain incorrect values after installation of OA11675.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICSPlex/SM V3R1M0 Users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After installing the PTF for z/OS * * APAR OA11675, the CICSRGN SIOREQ * * attribute in the CICSPlex SM Web * * User Interface will contain a * * negative value if the number of * * Start I/Os exceeds 2147483647. * * * * The value will be correctly reported * * in the CICSPlex SM TSO End User * * Interface. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this * * APAR, all CMASes and Web User Interface * * servers must be recycled to pick up the new * * code. Note that the restarts do not need * * to be done at the same time. * **************************************************************** The CICSPlex SM Web User Interface assumes that all four byte binary attributes are signed. This is not the case with the SIOREQ attribute on the CICSRGN resource table after the installation of the PTF for z/OS APAR OA11675. Because of this, if more than 2,147,483,647 Start I/Os are performed by a CICS, the SIOREQ CICSRGN attribute will contain a value with the high order bit on. This will be treated as a negative value by the Web User Interface formatting routine EYU0VODF.
Problem conclusion
EYU0VOPU (VOPU) is called to extract a resource attribute from a resource table. Code has been added to VOPU to detect if the SIOREQ attribute is being extracted from the CICSRGN resource table and output an attribute that is longer than four bytes for processing by EYU0VODF (VODF). VODF always treats attributes that are longer than four bytes long as unsigned. Similar code has been added to EYU0MOFT (MOFT) and EYU0ARRP (ARRP) to support SIOREQ in RTA EVENDTL CURRDATA and REXX programs using TPARSE. Note that the MCICSRGN SIOREQ, CURSIORATE and INTSIORATE are not changed by this APAR.
