When a resource definition is updated, all instances of the
resource in the BAS Install List are removed and readded, to
insure that filters and overrides are applied properly to the
new definition, and to allow inconsistent set processing to
occur. When resources which are managed through RESINDSCs are
added to or removed from the Install List, the name of the
RESDESC is placed in the MGMTNAME field instead of the name of
the RESGROUP. If the resource is linked to a RESDESC via more
than one RESGROUP, this results in duplicate entries in the
remove control list processed by module EYU0BMRA (BMRA - BAS
    Management List Processor).

Problem conclusion

  • Modules EYU0BMCP (BMCP - BAS Management Definition List
Processor) and EYU0BMZ3 (BMZ3 - BAS Management Resource List
Processor) were modified to set MGMTNAME to the name of the
managing RESGROUP for resources linked to a RESDESC via one
    or more RESINDSCs. Modules EYU0BMRA, EYU0XCL1 (XCL1 - Fast
Path Cache List Add) and EYU0XCL2 (XCL2 - Fast Path Cache List
Remove) were modified to produce additional diagnostics if
errors are detected in management lists.
