    ****************************************************************
Message EYUVC1270I is typically issued after message EYUVC1231E
when a failure of a WUI action or 'set' is being processed.

Message EYUVC1273I may also be issued after message EYUVC1231E
when the WUI is processing 'BINSTERR' records reporting a BAS
    install related problem.

A number of problems have been found with these messages:

    - The EIBFN and EIBRESP values are only displayed in decimal.
For a user to diagnose the errors, typically the EIBFN and
EIBRESP names are required. The user should not have to
      'translate' these values manually.
    - The online help for EYUVC1270I and EYUVC1273I does not
contain enough information to allow a user to attempt to
diagnose the problem reported by these messages.
    - The 'explanation' reported in EYUVC1273I is incorrectly being
set based upon the CICS EIBRESP value rather that the
      BINSTERR error code.
    - Message EYUVC1270I assumes that the FEEDBACK KEYDATA field,
which is used to set the <objname> insert of this message, is
always character. This is incorrect for some objects, for
example task numbers or UOWID values which do not have
      character primary keys.

Problem conclusion

  • The following changes have been made to correct the reported
    problems:

    - New inserts, eibfn_name and resp_name have been added to
EYUVC1270I. The CICS information from EYUVC1273I has been
removed and new message EYUVC1279I has been added.
    - The online help for messages EYUVC1270I and EYUVC1273I has
been updated, and help has been added for new message
      EYUVC1279I.
    - EYUVC1273I has been changed to always report BINSTERR error
code information for the 'explanation' insert. The CICS
information is now reported in message EYUVC1279I when
      applicable.
    - The objectname insert in message EYUVC1270I will now be
formatted based upon the data type of the objects primary
      key.
