When using the CICSPlex SM API or the WUI TASK view to obtain the currently running program (the TASK CURRENTPROG), the very first program is always returned. For example, program A links to program B and program B links to program C. Regardless of which program is running, the TASK CURRENTPROG is always program A. Note that the restarts * * do not need to be done at the same time. * **************************************************************** The TASK resource table is built using the CICSPlex SM 'Generic Receiver' method. The 'Generic Receiver' uses a table, EYUTNAGx, in order to determine the appropriate CICS SPI commands used to collect the required data for the resource table record. The EYUTNAGx entry for the TASK CURRENTPROG attribute is using the PROGRAM keyword of the EXEC CICS INQUIRE TASK command rather than the CURRENTPROG keyword. This causes the record to contain incorrect data.
Problem conclusion
The EYUTNAGx entries for the TASK CURRENTPROG attribute have been corrected.
