APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a rollback occurs the connection is closed and the pool
  removes the connection as expected.
  If the freePoolSize is queried from the MBean the value contains
  correctly one less than before.
  But the freePoolSize in the Performance Viewer (Tivoli
  Performance Viewer) and therefore queried via the PerfServlet
  tool contains the old value minus 2 which is not correct."

  After a connection is aborted, the FreePoolSize in WebSphere
  Application Server Tivoli Performance Viewer is decremented
  twice, resulting in the counter becoming incorrect. Only the
  value in the performance MBean and Tivoli Performance Viewer
  is incorrect. The value used internally to maintain proper
  pool size is unaffected.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code was updated so the FreePoolSize in Tivoli Performance
  Viewer is correct after a connection has been aborted.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.0.10.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
