APAR status

Error description

• Running migration.sh on Solaris returns message
  "$app_server_root/bin/ProfileManagement/wct.sh not found".
  -
  The following tools are not supported on Websphere Application
  Server Version 9 running on Solaris:
  <WAS_home>/bin/migration.sh
  <Profile_home>/bin/migration.sh
  
  They should not be available on a WAS installation running on
  Solaris. The should be removed from the build component.
  

Local fix

• Use the WASPreUpgrade and WASPostUpgrade to do the migration
  process.

  The Profile Management wizard and its underlying GUI component
  was removed from the Solaris image of WebSphere at some point,
  however the migration script and plugin were not. This leaves
  a script which can only give the error in the problem
  description when invoked, and a plugin jarfile that is not
  used.
  

Problem conclusion

• Migration was adjusted to not include the script or the plugin
  in the Solaris image of WebSphere.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.5.5.15 and 9.0.0.11.  Please refer to the
  Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
