APAR status

Error description

  • There is an issue in wsadmin with application install
    validation which can cause the MapModulesToServers option to be
    ignored when running the AdminApp.edit command.
    

Local fix

  • Set -validateinstall off on the command.

    When using wsadmin scripting tool to edit an application with
    validateinstall option enable, using the MapModulesToServers
    option does not update the targets mapping.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been modified to fix the mapping modules to
    servers when edit an application using wsadmin.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.5.5.16 and 9.0.0.11  Please refer to the
