Error description

• CWMMS0469E: Error getting application placement controller
  (APC) MBean. Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException is
  encountered when using the script to set Maintenance mode
  from nodeagent.

  Users may encounter CWMMS0469E error when using script to set
  maintenance mode. The error is logged during the attempt to
  access Application Placement Controller (APC) MBean
  

Problem conclusion

• This issue may occur if APC, being an HAManged item, hops among
  various node agents due to constrained resources. Code changes
  were to check the validity of previous location prior to
  accessing the MBean.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
  pack 8.5.5.17.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
