Error description
When using the IBM JDK 8.0.5.31 with Liberty 19.0.0.3 the health center agent cannot be found (-Xhealthcenter). The following message is produced: [25/04/19 11:37:05:781 EDT] 0001d36d com.ibm.ws.health.center.classloader.HCClassLoader W TRAS4352W: Health Center agent was not found, so JVM monitoring and diagnostic information will not be available 1. recent v8.0.x.x (after 8.0.5.27) and recent v7.0.x.x IBM J9 JREs/JDKs have changed the name of the version.properties file to hcversion.properties 2.Liberty is looking for the ?version.properties? explicitly (appears in HealthCenterCompatibleCheck.java / HCAgentConnection.java / HCClassLoader.java) 3. adding health center back into the JDK is possible, but not easy for customers to do 4. it may be the case that OpenJ9 Java 11 will switch to mission control We probably need to update files mentioned in 2. above to look in BOTH version.properties and hcversion.properties for the version info (so that we can still work with older JDKs while supporting newer ones).

Problem conclusion
The JDK have renamed a property file that the Liberty code uses to retrieve version info. The Liberty code has been modified to parse the new file. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 19.0.0.5.
