Error description

• After the migration to WASv8.5, plugin-cfg.xml contains all
  cluster information even which is not supposed to be included.

  After migration, a web services task WSUpdateARSTask runs
  which targets the ibmasyncrsp.ear application to appropriate
  servers. Without the fix, ibmasyncrsp.ear is targeted at any
  server that is not a nodeagent or dmgr, which includes
  application servers but also web servers, on-demand routers,
  and other server types which it doesn't need to be. Then, when
  plugin-cfg.xml is generated, it includes all of these extra
  servers and clusters that ibmasyncrsp.ear was targeted at.
  

Problem conclusion

• The task was adjusted to only target the ibmasyncrsp.ear
  application at application servers, preventing the additional
  server/cluster information from being added to plugin-cfg.xml.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.17.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
  page for delivery information:
