Error description

  • Reduce HPEL buffer flush interval and implementing timer.
    Timer will be started when there is a logging request and
    perform flush task every second. When there is no request
    coming in timer task will be cancelled.

    HPEL buffer flush interval, original 10 seconds, and is
    reduced to 1 second. Timer will perform flushing task every
    second and will be stopped when there is no logging request.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Timer will be started when there is a logging request and
    perform flush task every second. When there is no request
    coming in for more than a second, the timer will stop.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    8.5.5.17 and 9.0.5.3.  For more information, see
