• WOLA failure rc12 Reason Code 24 from BBOA1CNG caused by out

  storage due to a leak in LSCL

  In environments when WOLA clients are frequently connecting and
  disconnecting from WebSphere or Liberty server instances,
  instances of the LSCL control block may be leaked.  These
  control blocks are located in an area of shared storage used for
  local communication between Liberty servers and their clients.
  When the shared storage is exhaused, WOLA service BBOA1CNG will
  not be able to allocate storage for a new connection, and a
  RC=12 RSN=24 will be returned to the caller.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code was added to free the storage used by LSCL control blocks.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
  pack 19.0.0.10.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
