    ****************************************************************
When merging XMLs that contain both like and different ports
within their VirtualHostGroups, the merge tool will create
erroneous URI groups that don't configure to any server
cluster. These extra ports are typically those defined to the
transports within each of the servercluster's servers.

Problem conclusion

  • The merge tool has been modified to accept two new parameters.
-ignoreTransportPorts: This tells the merge tool to remove all
transport ports from any of the virtualhostgroups before merge.
-ignorePorts: This provides a pipe delimited list of ports
that the merge tool needs remove from all virtualhostgroups
    before merging.
