    The following exception will appear in messages.log when a
    properties file in etc/extensions/ contains
    com.ibm.websphere.productInstall= without a value:

    After the message is displayed, the server will continue to
    start and will function properly, however the product extension
    with the error in it will not be processed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Updated the code to avoid referencing index 0 when the length of
    the product install path string is 0.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
    pack 19.0.0.11.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
