Error description

• When a tag attribute has an expected type of Object, the
  generated code will create an unnecessary String object.

  If a custom tag has an attribute which is configured to have
  an expected type of java.lang.Object, there could be
  unnecessary String objects created during the processing of
  the JSP request.
  For example, a custom tag with an attribute that has a text
  value such as this:
  <custom:test myAttribute="testing" />
  will generate the following code for setting the attribute:
  jspx_th_custom_test_0.setMyAttribute(new String("testing"));
  If the value of the attribute is an expression the String
  object is not created.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JSP Container was modified so that it will not create
  unnecessary String objects.
  
  The change does not take effect until the JSP files are
  retranslated and the Java sources are recompiled.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.9 and 8.5.5.2.  Please refer to the Recommended
