APAR status

Error description

• When attempting to create a Web Service from a POJO in a
  Dynamic Web Project using the bottom-up approach in RAD (the
  Web Services wizard by highlighting the POJO and selecting Web
  Services > Create Web Service, following the wizard, when
  click finish), it will get an "Errors occurred during wsgen"

  The current implementation of 'wsgen' only checks for
  webmethods defined in implementation bean class, if the
  webmethod is defined in the super class, 'wsgen' will throw
  an exception like below:
  com.ibm.jtc.jax.tools.ws.processor.modeler.ModelerException:
  modeler error: Methods in a xxxxx must be implemented in the
  implementation class.
  

Problem conclusion

• To fix the issue, Liberty Profile updated the JAXB Reference
  Implementation to a higher version which has fixed the issue.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.3.  Please refer to the
