APAR status

Error description

  • When starting the application in batch, a
    java.util.ConcurrentModificationException shows that the
    clearCache() method is not thread safe.

    When starting the applications in batch at the same time, one
    of our methods is not thread safe. A
    java.util.ConcurrentModificationException may happen under
    this circumstance.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed the problem by enhancing the thread safety which avoids
    the java.util.ConcurrentModificationException.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.0.0.9 and 8.5.5.2.  Please refer to the
