    *                  Web Services for Remote Portlets (WSRP).    *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a JSF 2.0 portlet project          *
    *                      deployed on WebSphere Portal is using   *
    *                      Web Services for Remote Portlets        *
    *                      (WSRP), JSF 2.0 resource loading and    *
    *                      AJAX features do not work.              *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The JSF 2.0 portlet bridge code needs to be updated to create
    the resource url using the Portal API when using Web Services
    for Remote Portlets (WSRP). Also, the JSF code needs to be
    updated to fix the URL encoding issue.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The JSF 2.0 Portlet Bridge was updated to create the resource
    url using Portal API when using Web Services for Remote
    Portlets (WSRP). The JSF code was updated to fix the URL
    encoding issue.
    
    The fix will not be active until the following context-params
    are added and their values set as true in the web.xml:
