    ****************************************************************
An application that has pre-compiled JSP files and also the
recompileJspOnRestart property set can fail with an
InvocationTargetException during a request for a nested JSP.
For the exception to occur the following must be true:
    - The JSP requested will be nested in a directory in the
application. For example, a request to
    http://localhost:9080/MyApp/nestedDir/Test.jsp
    - The JSP files were pre-compiled. This can be done either
with the JspBatchCompiler or during application deployment
    with the "pre-compile JSPs" option.
    - Either the WebContainer custom property
    "com.ibm.wsspi.jsp.recompilejsponrestart" or JSP attribute
    "recompileJspOnRestart" is set to "true".

Problem conclusion

  • The JSP Container was modified to create, if necessary, the
application's directory structure in the profile's temp
directory when the recompileJspOnRestart property is set to
    true.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
