Error description
When the assisted life-cycle support for Liberty profile update is applied to an existing profile, the profile is not automatically updated with the required configuration.

The missing WebSphere environment variables WLP_INSTALL_DIR, WLP_USER_DIR and WLP_OUTPUT_DIR prevent the Admininstrative Console from starting the Liberty profile servers.
Problem conclusion
The correct profile update actions required to start the Liberty profile server through the Administrative Console have now been applied. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.2.
