Error description

The synchronous API com.ibm.websphere.sip.resolver.
DomainResolver.locate(Sip URI) blocks the calling SIP Container
thread until it gets a response from the DNS server.  If the
DNS server isn't reachable or is very slow, it may take a long
time to timeout. This timeout value needs to be configurable.

This timeout value needs to be configurable.

Problem conclusion

We made the timeout value configurable for the application.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.0.0.9 and 8.5.5.3.  Please refer to the
