Error description

Setting a new endpoint address of a Service Component
Architecture (SCA) module (URL of a WSDSL endpoint) using the
administrative console, the following error is encountered:
Failed to modify SCA Import Web service Binding. Please ensure
that the endpoint parameter references a valid URL endpoint.

When users try to set a new endpoint address of a SCA module
(URL of a WSDL endpoint) using the administrative console,
they may receive this error message:
"Failed to modify SCA Import Web service Binding".
Actually at the back-end, SCA uses a partial update to set the
endpoint. And, the issue only happens when the module is also
mapped to a web server.

Problem conclusion

Web Services was updated to accept this case. When a module is
also mapped to a web server, then no exception will be thrown.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.33, 8.0.0.9 and 8.5.5.3. Please refer to the
