PI12816: BIT LEVEL MISMATCH IS NOT BLOCKED DURING INTERIM FIX INSTALL.

Closed as program error.

Error description

Wrong bit level JDK fix will install on WebSphere Application
Server.

Recreate :
a. Install 32 bit WebSphere Application Server V8 on 64 bit
Operating System
b. Try to install 64 bit version of any JDK interim fix
c. The interim fix will install and show in versionInfo and
Installation manager agent data bit but actual JDK is not
updated.
Same happens when trying to install 32 bit JDK interim fix on
64 bit WebSphere Application Server.

So no issue at runtime but the JDK level is not updated to what
is expected.

Local fix

Uninstall the 64 bit JDK ifix and install 32 bit ifix. The bit
level of ifix should match bit level of WAS.

The following installation cases should be blocked by
Installation Manager:
1. Installing a 32 bit JDK interim fix on 64 bit WebSphere
Application Server V8.
2. Installing a 64 bit JDK interim fix on 32 bit WebSphere
Application Server V8.

Problem conclusion

The concurrent installation flow has been corrected.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.0.0.9 and 8.5.5.3. Please refer to the
