Error description

ap_log_error writes unreadable chars on IBM i. Conversion of
ebcdic to ascii before calling Apache logging API required

The web server log may show garbage characters for some
entries after startup.

Problem conclusion

The plugin module was writing data in the wrong format which
caused the non-readible statements. The incorrect statements
just log the plugin version and system information and can be
ignored but this fix will correct the statements so they are
legible.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 8.0.0.9 and 8.5.5.2.  Please refer to the Recommended
