  WebSphere Application Server provides a filtering mechanism
  that prevents some packages from being loaded from the OSGi
  framework but allows local loads from applications and the
  WebSphere Application Server Extension Class Loader. When
  these protected classes are loaded from the Extension Class
  Loader multiple times, however, there exists a situation in
  which the defineClass method is invoked a second time, which
  causes a LinkageError to be thrown.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code was put into place to verify whether the Extension Class
  Loader had already loaded and defined the class.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.10 and 8.5.5.4.  Please refer to the
  Recommended Updates page for delivery information:
