    This exception only occurs when using transactional high
    availability and only in the event that the peer server being
    recovered has transaction logs that contain no transactions,
    but one or more partners.
    The exception does not represent a functional problem and has
    no functional impact on either the application server
    performing the peer recovery or on the transaction service
    logs of the peer application server being recovered.  It is a
    serviceability issue only.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The RecoveryManager.preShutdown method was changed to test
    for the null object reference in which case the writing of the
    data represented by the object to the logs does not need to
    be performed.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 7.0.0.35, 8.0.0.10 and 8.5.5.4.  Please refer to the
