APAR status

Error description

• When we try to create a health policy by using command line, it
  report a NPE like this:

  Although there is something wrong with my input, it should tell
  me what's wrong with my input, if just report me a NPE, I don't
  know what should I do next.

  When no server is specified in the
  AdminTask.createHealthPolicy command (a required parameter),
  the command throws a NullPointerException that does not
  explain the cause of the problem.
  

Problem conclusion

• The command now throws a CommandValidationException, pointing
  out that "null" is not a valid target server name, when server
  name is unspecified.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
  page for delivery information:
