Error description

  • Stop time for servers is expressed in seconds to three decimal
    places.
    The time is always displayed in English format, for example,
    "The server MyServer stopped after 1.638 seconds." is
    displayed using the English format of seconds, followed by a
    period, followed by the number of milliseconds, regardless of
    the locale that the server is running under.

    For Liberty Profile server logs, the start time and stop time
    for the server sometimes does not display in the correct
    format for the locale that the server is running under.  This
    happens for any language that does not have the same format
    for numbers that is used for English.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The kernel code for the Liberty profile server was corrected
    to take into account the locale that the server is running
    under and display numbers correctly for the server start and
    stop time.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.3. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
