    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If PROXY_HTTP(S)_ADDRESS ports of a server are altered while
    the server is running, there is a timing window within the On
    Demand Configuration (ODC) component which could cause the old
    transport data to persist in the distributed ODC data even
    after the server has been cycled and the old transports are no
    longer in use. The result of this stale data being carried in
    ODC is that the plugin-cfg.xml produced by the
    HAPluginCfgGenerator and On Demand Router (ODR) processes may
    still carry information about the transports that have been
    deleted and are no longer active.

Problem conclusion

  • The code within the On Demand Configuration (ODC) component
    has been altered to eliminate the window which allowed the old
    transport data to persist after the effected server has been
    cycled and the old transports are no longer in use.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.3. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
