Error description

Normally, "timeout" or other parameters configured in
application should be honored even if it was also configured
in jvm. That is to say, parameter configured in application
level should overwrite that configured in jvm level. But now
in WAS webservice, Synctimeout configured in webservice
client binding file was overwritten by JVM property "timeout".

Normally, "timeout" or other parameters configured in
application should be honored even if it was also configured
in jvm. That is to say, parameter configured in application
level should overwrite that configured in jvm level.

Problem conclusion

"timeout" related code was changed that now synctimeout from
application would overwrite "timeout" of jvm property. To
enable this, user firstly needs to set jvm property
"com.ibm.ws.webservices.appTimeoutOverJVMTimeout" as "true".

APAR PI20931 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs
8.0.0.10 and 8.5.5.4 of WebSphere Application Server.
